Inspired by lowly red, pink and orange pondweed seen in the Highlands of Scotland, this tapestry grew more abstract, while still keeping to the theme. The colours, density and materials of the tufting come and go. Its title refers to the Scottish name for a type of seaweed and also to the mass of fibres. The colours ‘pop’ with exuberance.
